INTRODUCTION

These terms and conditions are valid for the purchase of products from the website:

owned and managed by L’altraottica di Matteo Vianello based in Castello 6206, Venice, Italy, Tax code VNLMTT74D19L736M, VAT number 04150600262.
When making a purchase, the Customer fully accepts the terms and conditions described here, confirming at the same time as sending the order electronically, through the electronic shopping cart system, that he/she has read and unconditionally accepted these terms and conditions, also in if the order is placed by other means of communication: e-mail or telephone.

PRODUCTS

The photographs on the website are accurate representations of the products currently in stock, but there may be minor differences in colour, shape and size, to the products that will be shipped. L’altraottica.com periodically updates the images so that no significant difference is perceived by the Customer.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.

PURCHASES AND ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS

Normally purchases are made through the e-commerce tools available on the site: https://www.laltraottica.com.it
The customer can read these terms and conditions and our privacy policy in a simple and guided way. However, it is also possible to place an order through other methods of communication (e-mail or telephone), but they must first be agreed by the Customer and the staff who manage the website.
Once the order is received, our staff will check the data contained therein and will confirm to the Customer about the availability of the goods within 24/48 hours and will communicate the necessary data to complete the payment and therefore the transaction.
If the goods are not currently available, the Customer will be offered, if possible, alternative solutions or, with the prior consent of the Customer, only the immediately available goods will be considered valid.
If the Customer has already paid for the ordered goods, but at the time of shipment the items are no longer be available, our staff will propose alternative solutions, designed ad hoc or the reimbursement of the goods that cannot be shipped.
The sales contract stipulated between lalltraottica.com and the Customer must be considered concluded upon receipt, by the Customer, of the order confirmation, containing in a simple and clear way, the details of the items purchased, the total price including shipping costs and the selected payment method.
Any liability of laltraottica.com is excluded for direct or indirect damage to people and / or property, resulting from the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment must always be made in advance.
The online payment methods we accept are:
• PayPal
• Credit card via PayPal

If agreed via email or telephone, payment can also be made via bank transfer. In this case, the customer must provide his/her name and surname in the Payment Details or Reason for Payment field.
In any case, goods will only be shipped after payment has been received, the timing of which depends on the payment method chosen by the customer.

SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES

Shipping costs are charged to the Customer and are indicated both in the electronic shopping cart and in the confirmation e-mail that the Customer will receive once the order has been sent.
All orders for which payment has been verified and credited will be shipped within 3 working days by express courier and delivery normally takes place within 24/72 hours depending on the area/country of the shipping address.
However, there may be delays attributable to the courier or due to force majeure for which laltraottica.com will bear no responsibility.
Our staff can provide information on the status of the shipment.
Should the shipment be held at the branch of the courier due to problems with delivery, the Customer will be informed by e-mail and must follow the instructions provided for the collection of the package. If the duration of storage exceeds 3 working days, additional logistical / administrative expenses may be charged from a minimum of €20.00 to a maximum of €60.00.

INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

The Customer is required to notify us within 3 working days of delivery, his will to request a replacement for having received: incorrect goods, with defects or for color changes.
In the event of incorrect processing of an order, that is, if the Customer receives goods other than what he actually ordered, he must notify us by e-mail, we will respond by providing all the necessary data to allow the Customer to return the incorrect goods.
Upon receipt of the package we will immediately dispatch the correct goods and reimburse the shipping costs that the Customer has incurred to return the wrong items to us. Cash on delivery packages are not collected.
The goods to be replaced must be like new and therefore unused, intact and with the original packaging and envelopes.
It should be specified that the products to be replaced must ABSOLUTELY NOT have been used, otherwise we cannot change the model.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Customer will have 10 working days to request a refund of the goods, exercising his right of withdrawal pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/05 S.M.I and must, within these terms, send us the communication by registered mail to l’altraottica, Castello 6206, 30122 Venice and anticipated by e-mail (via the “contact” button in the menu).
Once we have received the registered letter, we will contact the customer, who must return the goods within 10 working days, using a safe and traceable shipment.
The shipment of the returned goods is the sole responsibility of the Customer.
The products subject to reimbursement MUST NOT have been used; they must be intact and complete with all original parts, including packaging, and wrapping.
Once the integrity of the goods has been ascertained, we will proceed with the refund by bank transfer or, if possible, at the request of the Customer, with PayPal.
The reimbursement will be for the full value of the goods, while all shipping costs, both outward and return, are excluded, and will be borne by the customer.
In the event that the returned goods have signs of wear, missing parts or defects due to the poor padding used for the return, we will send a communication to the Customer, who will have 10 working days to collect the goods from our office or arrange a return to the sender, the costs of which will be borne by him/her. If no agreement is reached within the indicated term, laltraottica.com will be free from any obligation and will be able to reuse the goods as it sees fit.

UPDATING AND CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

laltraottica.com reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions as well as all other data, images and information contained on the website, at any time, even without notice.

JURISDICTION

In the event of disputes between L’altraottica and the Customer, the Court of Venice will have exclusive jurisdiction.
